Health Advocate has developed a comprehensive communications program to help support broad awareness and utilization of our program. The following is an overview of available material.
Our Manager’s Guide will help you introduce the Health Advocate program to your employees. It summarizes the information you and your employees need to know about how Health Advocate provides help and support when you need help with healthcare and insurance-related issues, as well as supporting material to help educate and build awareness of our program. Member Welcome Package. A printed copy of this brochure is included. A bulk supply of these brochures is shipped, under separate cover, to your offices for distribution to employees. This brochure provides plan members with an overview of Health Advocate and describes how to use the program. Each brochure contains three wallet ID cards listing our toll-free phone number: 1-866-695-8622 and website address (

Member Orientation. This 12-minute Health Advocate Member Orientation covers all of the basics to quickly understand how Health Advocate works and how our service can assist you and your employees and their families when a need arises. The video is available in CD, DVD and VHS format. |

Health Advocate in the News. Health Advocate has been widely featured by the news media throughout the country including segments on NBC10 TV and CBS Evening News. The CDs provide case studies of how Health Advocate works to help individuals with health-related problems. |

Awareness Posters. We have several awareness posters, printed in Spanish and English, available for your use to remind employees about Health Advocate’s services. We recommend that you initially display one version of these posters in prominent areas through your offices(s). Periodically, we will supply you with other poster versions in this series to help refresh awareness of Health Advocate. Additionally, we have “Table Tent Card Displays” available for use on cafeteria tables, workplace counters, etc. |

Reminder Materials. We have developed a series of electronic Reminder Cards that you can send via email to your employees to remind them about Health Advocate throughout the year. These cards are also available in a printed format for people that are not connected electronically. |

Member Newsletter. Health Advocate publishes a quarterly Member Newsletter that we send electronically to plan sponsors that can then be sent to their employees via email. |

Manager’s “Take-One Wallet ID Card” Pads. We make available to our plan sponsors a small pad with handy reminder wallet ID cards attached. These pads are available to be given to managers and supervisors so that they will have a resource at their fingertips to help remind their employees about the availability of Health Advocate. |
